Oxford Hires Braden Young in Social Media Dept.

April 28, 2016

Oxford Communications, the award-winning creative marketing agency based in central N.J., announced today the appointment of Social Media Channel Manager Braden Young.

Under the direction of Oxford’s Senior Vice President Chris Ledford, Young will aid in the continued expansion of Oxford’s social communications capabilities using his prior social media platform management and campaign analysis experience. In his new role, Young will lead the development of social client strategies and tactics for select Oxford clients in the restaurant, academic, retail, health care and real estate markets.

“Braden brings a wonderful mix of marketing expertise and boots-on-the-ground social execution to Oxford that is central to our thinking on what social media is all about,” said Oxford Communications’ President John Martorana. “As Oxford’s social media services continue to expand to meet client and industry needs, Braden’s consumer social outreach experience meshes well with our business, and we look forward to his contributions to our brilliant client work.”

Most recently, Young oversaw all social media efforts for Krispy Kreme in Philadelphia and southern New Jersey as the franchisee’s marketing manager. There, he developed and executed multi-channel marketing strategies and created digital content for social network distribution. Young also launched online contests to retain brand fans and entice new users to ‘LIKE’ the Facebook page and visit the company website. Before joining Krispy Kreme, Young worked as the creative marketing strategist for Bucks First Federal Credit Union. At Bucks First, he implemented the credit union’s first social media campaign in 2008. That inaugural social campaign yielded the single largest crop of new accounts among 18- to 24-year-olds in the company’s history.

A requested guest speaker on both social media and marketing topics, Young has spoken at the Cuna Marketing Conference and the Word of Mouth Supergenius Conference.
Young earned his bachelor's in marketing from Shippensburg University and an associate's degree from the Art Institute of Philadelphia. He resides in Abington, Pa. with his wife, Denise. To keep up with Young on Twitter, please follow @BradenY.
