In the fiercely competitive market of home and small business printers, Brother International faced giants like HP, Epson and Canon. The client challenged Oxford to introduce their new affordable inkjet series on a very tight budget in specific geographic markets. Our goal was to outshine the competition and elevate Brother’s presence.

We unleashed a groundbreaking six-week campaign targeting entrepreneurial small businesspeople, a persona that strongly aligned with the feature set of Brother’s new line of printers. A dazzling microsite debuted at the Consumer Electronics Show, complemented by vibrant rich-media banner ads. We utilized social media to engage industry influencers directly. An eye-catching video took center stage, driving consumer engagement.

The Results

28 million media impressions, thousands of microsite hits, and a surge in online conversations marked our success. Print and television news coverage skyrocketed. The campaign, aptly named “See the Bigger Picture,” not only represented Brother’s largest marketing investment but also set the gold standard for all future product launches.

Build an Experience

Ewing Town Center

Together with O2 Design, Oxford creates compelling physical destinations designed to bring a brand to life, from strategically curated sales and service environments, to immersive spaces that add depth and breadth to the customer experience (CX).

The Challenge

Atlantic Realty purchased property in Ewing, New Jersey, that was previously a General Motors plant. This plant opened its doors in 1938, employed 5,700 people and produced airplanes used during World War II. After decades of the property being vacant, Atlantic took on the challenge to redevelop the land to transform it into a large mixed-use development that would serve as a town center for Ewing Township. The vision for this town center included residential units, commercial spaces for retail and dining, and live/work buildings for its residents. Oxford’s challenge was to develop and direct the marketing efforts for the rebirth of Ewing at Ewing Town Center.

The Solution

Embracing the site’s historical significance while keeping an eye on the future of Ewing, Oxford demonstrated a commitment to the community’s past and desire to rejuvenate the area. To accomplish this, Oxford developed a brand story that integrated both traditional marketing collateral — such as a brochure and website — as well as environmental and interior design that is reflected in the Leasing Gallery, model apartment and ETC’s “The Hub,” which is a primary focus of the community.

The Results

ETC is now known throughout much of central New Jersey as one of the most sought-after communities to live in. The concept of developing the vacant site into a thriving town center has energized both Ewing and the surrounding towns and has put Ewing on the map as a destination to live, play and work.

Recognizing the need to elevate its brand awareness with new audiences, NJM sought the expertise of Oxford to craft its inaugural advertising campaign.

Oxford devised a groundbreaking strategy to propel NJM into the spotlight. Our bold and disruptive campaign centered around the charismatic Carli Lloyd, a well-known soccer player who hails from New Jersey. In addition to breaking new ground in the Garden State, the grocery chain sought to introduce a sub-brand within their stores: the Tea Spot.

We devised an attention-grabbing anti-texting campaign, strategically placing it in high-profile sports venues in New Jersey. Leveraging captivating visuals and impactful messaging, our approach aimed to disrupt conventional thinking and drive home the importance of responsible driving habits. Our creative approach integrated the sports context with the message to “stay focused” when driving.
