COMMUNITY

O O O O O

FROM THE LAMBERTVILLE/NEW HOPE COMMUNITY THAT OXFORD CALLS HOME, TO THE SURROUNDING TOWNS AND CITIES WHERE WE LIVE AND PLAY, TO THE VARIOUS UNDERSERVED PEOPLE WHO TOUCH SOMETHING DEEP WITHIN US, WE’RE PROUD TO DEVOTE OUR TIME, TALENTS AND ENERGY TO HELPING OTHERS.

Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Bucks County

For National Mentoring Month, Oxford’s video production unit volunteered its time to produce a short, sharable video for Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Bucks County (BBBSBC) to help BBBSBC expand its efforts to match more than 500 Bucks County children with caring role models. The pro bono 90-second video short highlights the powerful mentoring relationship between a BBBSBC “Little,” who recently lost his father to cancer, and the positive role his “Big” has taken on in his life. The video became one of eight finalists in a national Facebook voting campaign sponsored by First Niagara Bank, initially winning $500 upon entry. Oxford also provided social support to help gain votes and spread awareness of the contest. To learn more about BBBS of Bucks County, please visit www.bbbsbc.org.

Piccolo Pronto

Our fast-casual restaurant client, Piccolo Pronto, celebrated its Grand Opening at TCNJ’s Campus Town by giving back with the Knead Out Hunger event, a day of free pizza with any donation to the Trenton Area Soup Kitchen (TASK). Oxford spread the message through an integrated social media and PR campaign aimed at engaging the students of TCNJ and the surrounding community, pro bono. From noon to 9 p.m., with lines consistently out the door, Oxford employees were on-site recording the action, facilitating interviews with media and encouraging generous donations to a good cause. A check for 100% of the day’s profits – over $6,000 – was presented to TASK at the end of the event. Prior to opening, Oxford teamed with O2 Design to design, decorate, brand and create everything inside the new restaurant, from the menu boards to the booths to the inspirational quotes blanketing the walls.

Trenton Community A-TEAM

In the fall of 2016, Oxford employees volunteered their time to create a series of artist profile videos for the Trenton Community A-TEAM, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization based in Trenton, New Jersey. Since 1989, the Trenton Community A-TEAM has been enhancing community pride by supporting, developing, and promoting self-taught, local artists. The Children’s Home Society of New Jersey (CHS)

A favorite holiday tradition at Oxford is the annual giving of gifts to the children of The Children’s Home Society of New Jersey (CHS). Founded in 1894, CHS is a nonprofit organization that helps at-risk, abused or neglected infants, children and youth find stable, permanent and loving homes, while helping families rebuild through community support programs.
